Clinician licensing
California law requires that advertising for psychological services identify each clinician by name and license, including the license or registration number. Our clinicians:
- Dr. Angela Horng, PhD: Licensed Psychologist, CA #33025 & NY #026727
- Celina Alvarez Marroquin, MPsy
- Christian Homniyom, LMSW: Licensed Master Social Worker, NY #125305
Supervision of pre-licensed and supervised clinicians
Where a clinician is registered and working toward independent licensure, California requires that their registration number and the name of their supervising licensed clinician be disclosed. Services provided by a registered associate are delivered under that supervision. In New York, licensed master social workers (LMSW) provide psychotherapy under the supervision of a qualified licensed clinician, consistent with New York State Education Department requirements.

Telehealth and in-person care
We provide services primarily by telehealth, to clients physically located in California or New York at the time of each session. In-person sessions are available with Celina Alvarez Marroquin in Rochester, New York. Before telehealth begins, you’ll be given information about how it works, its benefits and limits, and asked to provide informed consent, consistent with California law. Telehealth is not appropriate for emergencies.
Good Faith Estimate (your right to a cost estimate)
Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services if you are uninsured or not using insurance. You can ask for one before scheduling.
