Our commitment
Untangled Threads Psychology is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
What we’ve done
- Semantic, structured headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate the site.
- A visible "skip to content" link and keyboard-operable navigation.
- Visible focus outlines on links, buttons, and form fields.
- Color choices checked for sufficient text contrast.
- Form fields with clear, associated labels and helpful hints.
- Respect for the "reduce motion" setting, which turns off non-essential animation.
- Responsive layouts that work across phones, tablets, and desktops.
Telehealth accommodations
Beyond the website, we want sessions themselves to be accessible. If you need an accommodation to take part in care, such as captioning, a screen-reader-friendly intake, extra time, or materials in another format, let us know and we will do our best to arrange it.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Third-party services we link to are outside our direct control.
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review the site periodically and address issues as we find them or as they are reported to us.
Tell us how we’re doing
If you encounter a barrier on this site, or need information in a different format, please tell us through our contact page or at [email protected]. Include the page address and a short description of the problem, and we will respond and work to provide the information you need.
